Chulu East Climbing

of 22 reviews

Overview

Chulu East Peak Climbing is combined with a classical trek around Annapurna massif, ascending Marsyandi valley and crossing the Thorungla, before descending the Kali Gandaki valley to Pokhara. This climb is technically straight forward and you should be familiar with the use of equipment, crampons, harness, ice ax, tying knots, and handling climbing ropes. PisangPeak, Thorong Peak

Most of the climbing will be involved walking roped together, including the glacier crossings. You can get a very estranged and natural fit of climbing mountains from this part. The North-East Ridge is considered the normal route to climb this peak from a Base camp on the Moraine at 5334 m. Most climbers make it to the top and back from Base camp in one long day although some have established a higher camp somewhere below the peak. Chulu Far East (6059 m) may also site from this part. Larke Peak, Manaslu Circuit Trek.
